Lance Armstrong lost several sponsors

The USADA released a report related to doping by the famous American cyclist Lance Armstrong. According to the dossier, this sportsperson took steroids and other related medicines. After publishing several sponsors that donated for Lance Armstrong’s foundation Livestrong decided to cut their links with this person and his foundation.
One of companies that decided to stop sponsoring the organization which fights against cancer is Nike. This company was working much time with the cyclist. Finally Nike affirmed that it would not have anything longer with the person that was cheating more than 10 years.
24 Hour Fitness also refused to collaborate with Lance Armstrong anymore.
Certain other companies also made the decision to stop sponsoring Livestrong.
However, the athlete tried to do a lot in order to prevent negative influence of his athletic reputation on the organization which helps persons with cancer to survive. He announced that he would not be the chairman of the organization anymore. Although the sportsperson tried to keep sponsors, he couldn’t do it.
As for the USADA, it announced that Lance Armstrong was found guilty of doping. As a result, the sportsman received lifetime suspension. Furthermore, he forfeited all 7 titles acquired at Tour de France.
But the International Cycling Union (ICU) claimed that the USADA made a wrong decision. However Lance Armstrong discontinued fighting against accusations pronounced by the USADA, the ICU affirmed that it would appeal the decision even without involvement of the sportsman.
However Lance Armstrong never tested positive for any forbidden preparation, it was concluded that he was guilty of doping. It was confirmed that he administered steroids and other banned substances but he used several simple as well sophisticated ways in order to prevent positives. Thus, he was able to dope and remain undetectable.
Now the sportsman pays for his cheating. The decision of certain companies to stop sponsoring his organization is a great loss for this person.
