High-qualified trainers are arrested due to Operation Gilde


Norwegian police have busted a large doping ring. Over 10 individuals linked with illicit operations were arrested. Six persons went to prison.
According to reports of the newspaper Dagens N?ringsliv (DN), the doping ring was located in Trondheim. DN published own investigation linked with illicit sale of anabolic steroids in Norway. Police investigated the case.
It is suspected that a secret center is located in Trondheim. It controls illegal sale of doping medicines and money laundering.
The arrested persons were connected with bodybuilding, fitness and health industries in Norway. Several individuals were arrested at their homes; others – in business offices, car lots and tram stops.
Investigators suppose that several individuals are hidden by the names of Guru and Karma.
Robert Eilertsen belongs to those who have been arrested. He is a manager and editor of a fitness blog. He coached well-known sportspeople within football, boxing, handball, etc.
It is suspected that Eilertsen and several other persons have provided dangerous performance-enhancing drugs to Norwegian youth during several years.
Circa 60 police officers were implicated in raids. The raids caused 11 arrests.
Since the investigation is not finished yet, police officers report nothing about their further actions.
Norwegian customs officers and tax authorities were also involved in the investigation.
Numerous computers and several documents were confiscated during raids of homes, business officers, cars, etc.
Eilertsen and Gunnar Strand Jacobsen, another arrested person, have denied their links with doping preparations. Jacobsen is the owner of Kaliber Gym in Trondheim, one of the most well-known gyms in Norway. Jacobsen was personal trainer of athletes who acquired prizes. He coached sportspeople who attended to various sports. He is considered to be a high-qualified nutrition expert.
The raid was called “Operation Gilde”.
Eilertsen and Jacobsen are charged with sale of doping preparations and money laundering.

Sellers of sex stimulants and steroids created legal business to mask profits from illegal drug trade


Spain’s police officers arrested Scott Boote, a person, who was implicated in illicit operations related to a multinational drug ring producing stimulants that enhance sexual desire. Huge amounts of medications were seized by police officers. The street value of the medications was estimated. It was affirmed that it was almost ?3 million. A citizen of the UK, a 72-year-old person from Liverpool, was also questioned. According to reports of police officers, these two men manufactured 8 new sexual stimulants and sold them per internet without providing medical controls. Six other persons were also questioned during this investigation. Investigators confirmed that the individuals that were implicated in this illegal drug ring got cars and another property due to distribution of illegal sexual medicines. Certain bank accounts were blocked by police officers. Over 100,000 doses of anabolic steroids, properties and cars were confiscated.
A spokesperson for Spanish police confirmed that all members of the drug ring lived quite luxuriously. They possess many properties and luxury cars. They purchased properties abroad in order to hide the illicit business. Investigators defined that the ring offered for sale sexual medications for both males and females. The drugs were advertised on internet. Persons from the whole world could buy the medicines. So, people from the USA, the UK, Thailand, Malaysia, etc. were customers that acquired medications from this ring. Three factories functioned in Costa del Sol. Investigators believe that those that were manufacturing the medications didn’t possess proper knowledge for this purpose. According to them, the individuals that were involved in the drug ring created also legitimate business in order to hide the illegal one. They put efforts to give legitimate appearance to illegal operations. Certain commercial companies were established by these people in order to mask the profits obtained due to illegal drug trade.
Boxes which had to be sent to clients were also found by police officers. Anabolic steroids were also included in the drugs seized by law enforcement officers. Packages, labels and leaflets were also found in possession of the arrested persons.
