Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian president, is also the president of the National Olympic Committee. He was very disappointed after the Belarusian shot-putter Nadzeya Ostapchuk tested positive for a banned product. The president was too frustrated. Lukashenko turned out to be a serious fan of sports. He was ashamed that representatives of his country destroyed Belarusian’s sports reputation by positives for prohibited products. As a result, he stated that some changes would take place.
The Belarusian president affirmed that it was needed to criminalize administration of banned preparations in sports. So, sports will be probably clean. This statement was pronounced by Alexander Lukashenko after Nadzeya Ostapchuk was caught applying methenolone. This medication is better known as Primobolan.
The Belarusian president desires to see that his country succeeds in sports on the international scene. If Alexander Lukashenko wants to clean his country’s sports, he will be capable to do it. Some facts demonstrate that this person has reached many goals linked with his country.
Actually, Lukashenko is a strict president. He was even accused of human rights abuses. He can change the situation in sports by force too.
The Belarusian president doesn’t plan to talk about administration of forbidden preparations in sports. There are other aspects that should be discussed, according to the president of Belorussia.
Anatoliy Tozik, the Vice-President for Alexander Lukashenko, supposed that they could establish a sports scientific center which would be sponsored by the state. The center would conduct scientific researches related to mental and pharmacological support for elite athletes. The president agreed to form this center.
It is not yet clear whether Alexander Lukashenko will clean sports at any cost. Will he utilize his force for this need?
