If steroids are used correctly, serious kidney disorders don’t trouble users

Anabolic steroids are often blamed for different illnesses of consumers. Undoubtedly, these medicines may cause certain unwanted results. Nevertheless, anabolic steroids are frequently demonized without any reason. It is reported often by the media that these medicines lead to different health problems, crimes, deaths. But it is necessary to understand nature of these products and see when these preparations should not be demonized.
Let analyze two situations. One of the situations is linked with the former American bodybuilder Flex Wheeler. Another situation is connected with another former bodybuilder Luke Wood.
The former American bodybuilder Flex Wheeler experienced kidney dysfunctions. He submitted to a kidney transplant. Since he administered steroids, the media decided to demonize these products for kidney dysfunctions of Flex Wheeler. Actually, Flex Wheeler had a hereditary kidney disease. Undoubtedly, usage of steroids contributed to the complications. But did Flex Wheeler take steroids properly? Did he follow reasonable instructions related to doses and duration of administration? No, he didn’t. Flex Wheeler used too increased doses of steroids. Furthermore, he used these products prolonged period of time. In addition to these conditions, the former American bodybuilder applied also other medications that had negative influence on his kidneys. So, steroids should not be blamed for Flex Wheeler’s disease.
As it has been already mentioned, another situation is related to the former bodybuilder Luke Wood. He died after a kidney transplant, being a young person. The media also chose to demonize steroids in this case. It was stated that anabolic steroids caused kidney disorders in Luke Wood. But you should be informed that the bodybuilder used not only steroids. He applied also insulin, pain drugs, DNP and other medications that influenced on the kidneys negatively. So, it is impossible to say that anabolic steroids were responsible for his kidney failure and death.
According to many experts, if steroids are applied properly, severe kidney dysfunctions don’t occur.
